Running sushi seems to be a though business. The food is ok considering the price. Service could be better. The ambience is somewhat dated. The toilets need some attention. As it gets busy cleanliness goes down.
The food was very tasty and varied, the waiters very nice and attentive! It was packed (Saturday evening), that speaks a lot for the restaurant! The ambience is so-so, but it makes up for it with the good food! To recommend!
All in all ok, strange is they don't want a name and phone what is mandatory because of corona. The toilets haven't been cleaned for a long time, hopefully the kitchen is cleaner.
I liked that they have more traditional nigiri sushi and less makis. The Tamago was very yummy. A very good price performance for all you can eat sushi! :)
The fish is always fresh. The food in general is great mouth and cheap too.
On Google it states that it closes at 23:00 on their door at 23:30. I arrived there at 20:30 and they closed it right as I was about to start eating.
Typical assembly line operation - nothing special. Mass instead of class. Taste goes like this.
Woah that was delicious. We ate like Vikings. There was everything, fruit, vegetables, chicken, beef, mussels, prawns, calamari, dessert .. the waiters were also very nice.
Very tasty always very pleasant to go there definitely my favorite running sushi in Bavaria which is also very pleasant on a personal level
I went in the evening, even though I hadn't made a reservation, I was given a small table. The offer was varied. The staff in the guest room wore their mouth and nose protection correctly. The tables made a clean impression. I could leave my pen in my pocket, the Corina contact tracking notes were probably not available at the moment. The audience didn't give the impression that that was important to them.
We liked it here. Nice selection, service was good too.
The first impression was good. However, this was changed after 10 minutes. On the treadmill, it felt like only plates with mushrooms drove past us and new dishes were very rarely or not at all to be found. The food we had was good anyway. We wanted to order an extra bowl of rice. Unfortunately, this never arrived.
Bad sushi (fridge cold and poor quality even for running sushi). In other places in Munich you get more choice and better taste + quality for the same price).
Corona requirements borderline. Shaky and sometimes pointless plexi panes separate the visitors and there is not enough space between them. If you are careful there, you should not go there. Otherwise, as always, very nice. A bit of messing around with the bill until the right one was on it. Food delicious and a lot of choice.
I've already tried a few in Munich For me the best running sushi in Munich so far, this one has the most variety and choice. And it tastes good. thank you
Nice and friendly. When the drinks are empty, they are empty and stay that way. The selection is very manageable. Not my taste in terms of taste, meat is more than fried to death, each plate is served in the typical sweet-chilli sauce ...
I'm not in favor of the very strict corona regulations, but this is the first restaurant where the distances are really much too tight. Also: I was a bit puzzled when making the reservation because no one asked for the name. Then I was there on time and still no more reasonable space there but only an emergency solution, and that where it should be a nice dinner and not a quick lunch.
I'm really sorry, but the food here is really not good. The rice tasted pure vinegar, the sushi was very badly wrapped and mostly fell apart immediately. The belts were half empty (lunchtime) and it was anything but varied, in my opinion it wasn't really fresh either. We were shocked as soon as we entered. 75% of the tables were free. However, almost all tables were full of plates, glasses and the like from the previous guests. That was then quickly cleared away and poorly “wiped off” with a damp cloth. The toilet had broken and dirty fittings. There weren't even any towels to dry hands. The I-Tüpferl were 3.20 EUR for a glass of tap water! The star goes to the staff, who were very friendly. The rest is unfortunately not recommended at all.
Was great! We had lunch and the conveyor belt was always full of different hot and cold things. Very good! The tables are narrow, but you sit separated by panes. It's okay
Here you should sit right at the kitchen exit for running sushi because all the delicious things are sent out at once and the first ones grab everything. Nothing arrives at half of the train. But everything tastes very tasty and often includes ice cream for in between. And very fresh fruit. Fruit will also be removed after a short time if it is driven around for too long. During the last visit, a girl vomited over two tables, which made us leave and somehow we can no longer sit near these tables, but otherwise everything was great. The waitress wanted to help clean the whole thing, but the mother did it alone. I just hope it was wiped and properly disinfected. Operation could be friendlier.
Nice place. Waiters were really friendly. Sushi: was yummy (really tasty). I beat my own record - 40 plates, boah, was hard but i did it!
The sushi was yummy but the service wasn't on point
For this price, it is worth visiting. But it is really just because the price....
Yesterday (August 1st, 2020) my girlfriend and I went to Kyoto Running Sushi again. It was really a long time that I wasn't there. So I looked at the reviews again beforehand. That didn't sound like I was used to from this restaurant. Still we tried it. We arrived at 12.30pm, which is lunchtime on a Saturday. Of course with a mask and waiting at the entrance, we were referred to a table within a minute, and very friendly. Everything was as clean as I was used to. The restaurant was well attended with a very mixed crowd. We ordered our drink straight away and it came within a few minutes. Both belts were always well filled and we could comfortably start to eat. Even before I felt the tables weren't too narrow and nothing has changed. With a running sushi you are of course sitting directly on a belt. During the hour we ate, new things kept coming up. Sure, not everything is really Asian, but I'm in Germany too. If I want pure Japanese food, I go to Japan. The choice was as wide as ever, both raw and fried. Main courses and desserts nicely mixed. I liked it very, very good for an hour, was very pleasant with very attentive waiters who constantly cleaned our table. We were offered forks straight away, which we didn't need, but showed that the waitresses are attentive. There is no need to talk about the price in Kyoto, it is more than fair. We ate, drank, had fun for an hour and paid 38 EUR for it. So, I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Kyoto at Heimeranplatz in Munich. This running sushi was, is and will certainly be my favorite restaurant for running sushi. Thank you.
I loved the place - the “eat all you can” was literally followed through - but hey, they still didn’t throw us out after the 5th Mt. Fuji of plates we created - each !! ?? But on the whole- I found the collection of items pretty good for the bill
used to be 4 stars...nos its 3. taste of food mediocre at best.
Very good running sushi restaurant. At midday the price is very cheap and there is a lot of choice on 2 bands. In the evening, as in all running sushi restaurants, a little more expensive and later, unfortunately, not as much choice. If requested, the desired one is delivered immediately, first on a tray before the rest is put on the tape. The quality of the sushi and other dishes is always wonderful. The staff are also very friendly and make every effort to ensure that the guest has a pleasant stay. I always like to come here and can only recommend the restaurant to anyone. Top value for money, especially at lunchtime!
So let's start with the most important point. 10.90 Euro all you can eat sushi is a very good deal for city like Munich so I payed 14.50 because I ordered o e 0.5l soft drink. I have being to a number of sushi restaurants in Europe and there fore I can tell that the menu is not so extraordinarily but nevertheless the food is of a good quality. On the bright side if you are not in to sushi you can still find planty of other food available for you... Enjoy I recomed!!!
Food is always so delicious!! Beside some small issues about stuff and ambient they are polite and clean. But Food is the very reason why I am coming again and again back. Preis is also very reasonable! I would recommend soup and other meals but not sushi. Sushi is of course good but other dishes I find much better!!
Was not expensive but was very oily and tasted not good enough.
An enjoyable experience, food was good and the staff was friendly. The interior could use a little work though.
All you can eat sushi with a choice of foods to suit young and old. Not overly expensive like some places although some might also consider the decor to be a bit dated, although I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and had a good time their with my family.
Finger licking good. I made the mistake of taking the all you can eat deal and then I ate more than should. Delicious!
Nice place and quite place
Awful experience, personal is not friendly
Various types of food and quiet place.
Proper Sushi bar for a quick fix. Great value - loads of choices available on the belt and in ongoing rotation (ha). Nothing exceptional, but also failsafe. Much better than the Sheraton restaurant, but inferior to the Italian place next door. Still, solid choice!
Affordable all you can eat conveyor belt sushi. There aren't a lot of place, it's better to call and ask. You can expect the standard variety of food. The bottom conveyor belt is for cold food and the top one warm.
Food is for the price good, except the warm food which was almost everytime cold. Food was taken away while we are eating from the machine, we were told to take out as much as we can because kitchen closes... much earlier than asked...
Really great sushi all you can eat place. In the noon it’s cheaper. They have a great variety of sushi und the waiters are really friendly
Saw a cockroach crawling on the food counters after finishing our meal. Don’t think I want to know how their kitchen looks like.
Good all you can eat running sushi and general Asian cuisine for an acceptable price (Oct. 2019: between 11 and 13€ for lunch depending on day). Obviously it's not going to beat à la carte dining with a good sushi chef, but it's still a pretty nice experience. Service (for drinks, there's no à la carte menu, just the conveyor belt with all dishes) is quite fast and the place seems to be pretty packed every time I go there. A reservation during high season and times might be prudent, at least for larger groups.
Very good sushi! The selection of the running sushi (double stick, warm up below cold) is here at noon better than other restaurants in the evening. Also from the taste really great! My first choice when it comes to sushi.
Great food and with reasonable prices, but sometimes the card machine has a problem. So it's good stay with money
I am usually suspicious of all you can eat for a set amount of money but this place was excellent , good food and amazing choices , left feeling well fed and happy thank you Kyoto Running Sushi.
Good price, good food. Maybe too many rice. :)
Nice food, good interier, good location
It was not as good as two years ago. Not so many variety of sushi offered in lunch time. If you have the reservation at 1 pm, be prepared, there will be way less options on the conveyor belt. They don't put new food anymore, so you are pretty much like cleaning up the leftovers for them. Will not go back again.
Fun place, all you can eat sushi and many warm dishes on a sushi "train".
Very nice atmosphere with many different options regarding sushi and fried foods. There was also a large dessert option. The price was good considering the limitless amount of food that is allowed to be eaten with that price. I will come here again
